How a patent matter runs

  1. Connect

Disclosures, office actions and references in SharePoint or Drive.

  2. Draft

The operator reads them and returns Word drafts that cite every passage.

  3. Review

Your attorney edits, approves uploads and messages, and files.

Nothing leaves the matter without a yes.

  • Drafts come back as Word files; the operator never files with a patent office
  • Uploads and messages to inventors wait for a person's yes; a declined action is not retried
  • Every run logged: input, output, tools, user

Questions patent teams ask

What does the operator do on a patent matter?

It reads the disclosure, inventor notes, office actions and cited references you give it, as Word or PDF files. It drafts claims, description sections and office-action responses as Word files, and every statement cites the paragraph or passage it rests on. Your attorney reviews, edits and decides.

Does it file with the patent office?

No. It returns drafts, and your attorney files. It has no connection to patent-office filing or docketing systems. Uploads to your folders and messages to inventors each wait for a person's yes.

Where does the prior art come from?

From the references cited in the office action, the documents you attach, and a search of the public web. It is not a patent database and not a complete prior-art search; your searchers and search tools stay in charge of that.

Can it follow our house style?

Give it your template and a few past filings. It follows their structure and claim format, and your attorney edits the rest. The drafts stay in Word, so the firm's own review steps do not change.

How long does it take to deploy?

A custom patent operator typically goes live in up to 4 weeks, including validation on your own matters and integration with your document stores.

Is our invention data private?

Alomana is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR-compliant, and your data is never used to train AI models. Enterprise deployments run single-tenant, in a dedicated instance.

Bring one office action.

Talk it over with sales: what the operator needs from your systems, and how it goes live.

Alomana is a secure enterprise AI platform where autonomous agents, called operators, run business processes end to end. Every run is fully auditable.
