We are seeking an AI Researcher to join our research team and help advance the state-of-the-art in autonomous AI systems. You will work on challenging problems at the intersection of machine learning, cognitive architectures, and practical applications, with a focus on developing novel approaches to enhance agent capabilities and reliability.
This role combines theoretical research with practical implementation, requiring both deep technical knowledge and the ability to translate research insights into practical solutions. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure research advances can be effectively integrated into our platform.
• Conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as autonomous agents, reasoning systems, and knowledge representation.
• Develop novel algorithms and approaches to enhance agent capabilities and reliability.
• Design and implement experiments to validate research hypotheses and evaluate new approaches.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and implement research ideas in production systems.
• Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Present research results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the research culture of the team.
• Stay current with latest developments in AI/ML field and identify promising new directions.
• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences preferred (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.).
• Deep expertise in one or more areas: autonomous agents, Large Language Model architectures, reasoning systems, knowledge representation.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks.
• Experience with large language models and their applications.
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and lead research projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with cognitive architectures or symbolic reasoning systems.
• Background in multi-agent systems or distributed AI.
• Industry research experience or history of successful research commercialization.
• Experience mentoring junior researchers or leading research projects.
• Work on fundamental AI research problems with real-world impact.
